Katherine Heigl speaks with everyone on her "white bubble life" and how it has had an impact on how she raises her adopted multiracial children. In an interview, she spoke about the "Firefly Lane" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress admitted her body didn't matter to her. However, when speaking to her adopted sister from South Korea about how society had treated them, she was conscious of the differences their lives were. Meg was asked whether her treatment was different in the times they went out with their parents or in the case of going out on their own. She replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl addressed Parents about the moment she realised the naivety of her actions. She confessed that she was angry, but she felt it was necessary to use her anger to assist her daughters. Heigl has a four year old son and a 13-year-old spouse, Josh Kelley. They have adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 years old in 2009. and then Adalaide who was 8 years older and was Black as of 2012.
